Whether he is snowmobiling, playing golf or curling, Justin takes this valuable escape from his hectic world as a chance to renew his zest for life.
Justin Panagapko has always been an avid sports enthusiast because he likes to challenge himself physically as much as he does mentally. Anybody who knows Justin will agree that complex problem-solving is one of the many things he is most enthusiastic about, whether it is in a factory or on a mountain.
After high school, Justin wanted a university that could accommodate the goals he wanted to pursue academically. He chose Brandon University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences. Not satisfied with one degree, Justin followed that up with a second degree in pressure welding, obtained from the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.
Although he is very busy, in his spare time, Justin loves to stay active. He has a deep passion for snowmobiling, which is a sport he started getting involved in at a very young age. He considers himself very fortunate to have grown up in a community that provided endless trails and opportunities to explore nature.
Another passion of his is the sport of golf. Not only does he love the sport, but he also loves the connection he enjoys with his father. They began playing together when Justin was five years old and they still play together to this day. Justin Panagapko strongly believes that it is a great way to relieve stress and increase one’s focus.
Not satisfied with only two major sports in his life, Justin also has a deep affection for the sport of curling that goes back over 30 years. He also started this sport when he was a young child and developed a deeper interest once he entered high school. He started competing at the junior provincial level. He continued to compete in provincial playdowns, as well as league play.
When it comes to warmer-weather activities, Justin Panagapko is a huge fan of golf. He plays on courses all throughout North America, especially western Canada and the southern United States.
Whether he is snowmobiling, playing golf or curling, Justin takes this valuable escape from his hectic world as a chance to renew his zest for life. He sees this as a time to unwind and enjoy himself, taking a pause from all of the things that life throws at him on a daily basis, each in their own special way. Snowmobiling highlights some of the great wilderness areas throughout Canada and creates a connection with nature. Golf and curling are both sports that require mental focus and discipline while creating maintaining friendly competition. Justin is proud of the lifelong friendships he has made while curling.
